China is cracking down on hackers, making penalties a lot tougher. New laws mean that hackers could face up to seven years in jail, according to those unbiased watchdogs of the People, the State media. The current law only allows punishment for hacking into government, defence or science computers. Private companies are fair game, which has made corporate spying an art form. (more)
