The suspect, who fled when confronted by the staff member, is described as having thick black hair and wearing a plaid jacket with a red-and-yellow logo on the back. more

• A new report gives detail on an 18-year-old who was arrested on a video voyeurism charge Wednesday after a video went viral showing customers in a Jacksonville Marshalls store confronting the teen they said was recording women in the restroom...Titus McDonell, 18, told police while he was detained in the same shopping center where the incident occurred a week prior that he was "just bored that day." more

Singapore - A 25-year-old man was sentenced to three years and 24 weeks in jail and five strokes of the cane for video voyeurism. He was previously sentenced to three years in jail and three strokes of the cane in November 2018. more

FL - Twice this week there were reports that women were secretly recorded in spaces they thought they had privacy while undressing... "I've watched this issue get worse, and the legislation has responded by getting tougher," Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg said. more

FL - Condo Association President, Charged with 4 Counts of Video Voyeurism... a cord led to a charger, which had a USB from which a USB cord connected to something in the plant. It was a tiny surveillance video camera. It had been placed there to spy on the bedroom’s occupants. more

Air Force Officer Spycam'ed Kids in Family Member’s Bathroom

An Air Force officer is going to prison after federal prosecutors say he used a hidden spy camera to record children using the bathroom and bathing at his family member’s home, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland...

In October 2020, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office in New York was notified by an adult woman, who has not been named, that Ort put a round, “black spy camera in (her) bedroom while visiting (her) home,” the news release said. Ort visited this adult’s home in Syracuse to visit her family, according to the plea agreement. 

This woman found the hidden camera with an SD card, and after reviewing the card, she “discovered a video of a minor female using the bathroom... Then, Ort was seen “entering the bathroom and adjusting the camera.” more

WA - An Oregon man has been sentenced to more than six years in prison for recording people using the restroom at a Vancouver hospital and possessing child pornography. more

AR - Ashton Jaleel Thomas, 26, of Springdale, was arrested on suspicion of committing multiple acts of video voyeurism at the changing rooms in a Rogers Goodwill store. more

Singapore - A 40-year-old man used spy cameras to film videos of female friends and co-workers using the toilet in several locations, including his home, his friends' homes and his workplace. more

UK - Professional photographer Roy Strutt, 64, installed a USB dongle with a hidden camera in the bedroom of his second home in Walberswick, Suffolk. He later invited a couple - who his wife knew through a friend - to stay at the property to celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary. The couple saw the dongle and unplugged it - with Strutt later telling them to plug it back in because it helped improve the Wi-Fi for the surrounding apartments. more

LA - A Vidalia, Louisiana, man.. has also received additional charges... illicit videos involving a juvenile taken by way of a hidden camera... investigators found evidence of a video voyeurism set up by way of hidden camera, which illegally recorded inappropriate videos of a juvenile. more

Singapore - Domestic helper jailed 17 months for filming elderly man in shower, uploading clips to TikTok, WhatsApp... One video was re-posted by an unknown user on a Facebook page titled SG Dirty Fella where it went viral. more

UK - A senior Metropolitan Police officer who posed as an airline pilot and fake glamour photographer to picture up to 51 naked women has been dismissed from the force. Detective Inspector Neil Corbel, 40, took covert videos of his victims in hotel rooms, flats and Airbnbs... He 'used his anti-terror skills' to secretly film the women with spy cameras hidden in tissue boxes, phone charges, glasses and keys after contacting them under the guise of being an airline pilot named Harrison. more

China - A male doctor live-streamed a patient’s gynecological procedure on a China video-sharing website without her knowledge, raising a wave of questions on medical ethics and privacy violations. more

UK - Scots student warns pervert stepdad will always be danger to kids after dodging jail for spying on her when she was 13... It came after the creep smirked as he was spared prison last week for secretly filming his stepdaughter thr­ough a gap drilled in her wardrobe. The predator also recorded her through the keyhole of a chest and a lens hidden in an alarm clock while on a family holiday in the US. more

WY - A 33-year-old Campbell County man has been charged with nine counts of voyeurism after he allegedly set up a recording device in a bathroom and took pictures of a female getting in and out of the shower and bathtub. more

Canada - Durham Regional Police have charged a man in connection with a voyeurism investigation in Pickering, Ont... police were called to a Walmart store ... after a man was discovered videotaping a female customer as she was using the change rooms. Police said the suspect was confronted by the victim and her family and said he had deleted the photos from his cellphone before fleeing. However, police added there were other photos on his phone of other possible victims and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man. more  more

LA - A Sulphur man was arrested after a recording device was found in the women’s restroom of a local restaurant Tuesday, according to information from the Sulphur Police Department. The device was found before anyone in the general public was captured on video, according to Sulphur officials. more

CT - A Vernon man is being charged after police say they discovered he put cameras in his home bathroom and secretly recorded his girlfriend and her children... a few years ago, two of the children, who were 13 and 18 years old at the time, discovered a bluetooth speaker in a bathroom that was actually a hidden camera... After the children found it, they secretly swapped out its SD card and delivered the card to a friend’s house for safekeeping, the warrant said. more

 FL - The businessman who filmed two naked women in an adjoining Key West, Florida hotel room has been sentenced to a year in prison for his felonious voyeurism, court records show... charged with sliding a tiny camera under the door separating his room at the DoubleTree Grand Key resort from that of two female vacationers, according to an arrest report... Cops found the spy camera hidden in a chair cushion. more

 WA - Former county fire marshal faces felony voyeurism charges... The charging documents allege Nicholson had hidden a camera in a sleeping area at the station, filming a female firefighter changing before getting into bed. When contacted by the detective, the firefighter that was depicted in the film stated she had not given consent to being filmed. The detective investigated the room and discovered an outlet that matched up with the angle of the video, although there was no recording device present when he inspected the outlet. more

UK - Robert Davies, 32, came to the attention of National Crime Agency investigators in 2019 after he purchased a number of cyber crime tools, including crypters and remote administration tools (RATs)... Davies was infecting his victims’ phones or computers with malicious software by disguising it with the crypters so their anti-virus protection would not detect it. He then used the RATs to gain remote access to their devices and steal any sexual images (mainly of females) they had stored on there. On at least one occasion, he used his illegal access to spy on a teenage girl through her webcam, turning the encounter into a number of indecent images. more  more

General - Laws on surveillance cameras at home can vary by state. As there’s no comprehensive set of regulations that govern residential security cameras or video surveillance, it’s essential to have a broad understanding of the concerns involved with these systems and devices. It’s just as important to know the laws at the state, county, and even local levels. more

FL - A registered sexual offender was arrested last week after he was accused of using his cellphone to record two students in a restroom at a Duval County high school, authorities said. more 

VT -  A federal judge has cleared at least part of the way for a plea deal involving a former emergency room doctor at the University of Vermont Medical Center, who ... hid a camera in a staff bathroom while working at the Burlington hospital, investigators said. He was later fired. more

Canada - A former New Glasgow doctor who was charged in 2016 for allegedly putting a hidden camera in a staff washroom at the Westside Medical Clinic, has left the profession. more

UT - A Utah man was arrested for voyeurism after an employee in the University Mall said he was recording people in dressing rooms at a clothing store. more 

FL - A University of Central Florida (UCF) student is speaking out, warning others after she said she discovered a spy camera was recording her through her bedroom window. more

CT - A city man with a history of voyeuristic criminal activity was recently arrested for allegedly trying to record a female shopper in a mall changing room earlier this year, according to an arrest warrant. more

WY - Trial Date Set for Sheridan County Man - Kobielusz was arrested in April  for allegedly placing video recording devices in a bedroom and bathroom of his home and using the devices to record three individuals, two minors and one adult, without their consent. more

UK - A man has been jailed for six months for voyeurism after he used a spy camera in his shoelaces and a phone to take video underneath skirts. more

Philippines - Policemen arrested a security guard for allegedly filming a woman while she was taking a shower Sunday evening in San Roque village, Tarlac City. more

WI - A Wisconsin teacher was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to one count of attempting to produce child pornography, reports NBC News. David Krutchen, 39, hid cameras in air fresheners on a field trip. more 

FL - A Frontier Airlines pilot has been charged over allegations he recorded a 19-year-old Florida college student with a hidden spy camera hidden in her apartment, university police said. more 

Japan - Kyoto Prefectural Police have launched an initiative to show a non-skippable video ad on YouTube warning that "secret filming is a crime," targeting users who have searched for terms seemingly related to voyeurism. more

MA - Amazon driver in blonde wig filmed naked girls in women's bathroom with pen camera, police say. more

CT - Detectives investigating a child pornography tip discovered photographs of young female students apparently taken without their knowledge by a Rockville High School teacher, arrest records show. more 

IN - Schneider remains on unpaid suspension from the New Albany Police Department. He was arrested in June on charges of voyeurism. Investigators said he used his smartphone to record video of women changing in a dressing room at his Memphis, Indiana, home. more 

Canada - A personal support worker charged with voyeurism at a long-term care home in Guelph/Eramosa is no longer an employee after being accused of taking intimate images of a vulnerable resident. more

Singapore - A South Korean man who had served as an interpreter for the Singapore Police Force (SPF) during the Trump-Kim Summit here in 2018, was caught in February this year using a pinhole camera to take videos of women using a toilet. more 

LA - Man admits to taking 19 upskirt videos in College Drive Walmart more

WA - A former Arlington Christian School teacher who admitted to shooting hundreds of videos of female staff members and students without their permission will not see any more time in jail. more

WY - Lander resident Dudley Irvine pled “not guilty” to a charge of attempted voyeurism at his September 28th arraignment hearing... The charge was originally filed after a gym member reported to the Lander Police Department that she had found a “covert recording device that was plugged into an electrical outlet facing the shower within the women’s locker room.” more 

India - Hinjewadi police have booked a voyeurism case against the chairperson, secretary and treasurer of a housing society in Hinjewadi-Wakad road on charges of voyeurism. The accused have been charged for installing CCTV camera near the bedroom window of the woman resident and recording her private life for almost one month. more

Hong Kong - (new law) People who take non-consensual photographs up a woman’s skirt face up to five years in jail in Hong Kong under a law passed Thursday aimed at tackling voyeurism. more

FL - Pembroke Pines Police said Thursday that the owner of Master Franco’s Taekwondo Academy on Pines Boulevard is facing additional video voyeurism charges. Robert Franco, 64 was already facing charges for placing nanny cameras in the bathroom of his Pembroke Pines facility. more

UK - A vile sexual deviant who snooped on a woman as she got changed at a swimming pool was found to possess 30 more videos of people getting changed - including children... unaware victim was getting changed...when she noticed a towel from the cubicle next to her along with a hidden mobile phone. more

WY - A Casper man (Douglas Michael Dickey) facing accusations that he recorded multiple videos of people using the restroom at a restaurant where he used to work has changed his plea in the case... “Dickey’s face [was] also observed when he started the recording of the video,” detectives write in the affidavit. “Setting up his cell phone by placing it next to the toilet and covering the cell phone from his victims. The videos also showed Dickey wearing his [uniform] and his employee name tag. Each of the videos ended with Dickey looking into the cell phone as he recovered the phone and ended the recording.” more

FL - Former Gulf Breeze Mayor Edward “Ed” Merrill Gray III has been sentenced to five years in state prison for secretly recording teen boys in his shower. more 

FL - A 34-year-old Port Orange man is charged with 25 counts of Video Voyeurism for secretly videotaping his child's nanny in his home... A digital clock in that bathroom struck the nanny as "weird." She explained that the clock "faced directly towards the shower and a blank wall. more

UK - Louise was nearly six months' pregnant when she spotted something suspicious after having had a massage - a digital clock wired up to a laptop computer. Immediately afterwards Louise - not her real name - searched online for "digital clock, hidden camera". The first result confirmed her worst fears. more

UK - A GREATER Manchester Police employee has today been sentenced for voyeurism in the workplace after secretly filming colleagues on the toilet. more

NY - According to arrest records from Seneca Police...Andrew Ballenger Johns, age 26 of West Union, was booked into jail on a charge of voyeurism... Judge Susan Harris alleged that Johns “knowingly video recorded the victim, a 26-year old female, without her knowledge or consent while she was in a place that she had reasonable expectation of privacy…and that he did position a cell phone set to record inside a bathroom of a residence.” more

N. Ireland - A Belfast-based private tutor is to stand trial over allegations that he secretly recorded a group of schoolgirls, a judge ordered today. more

UK - Cheshire pervert secretly filmed women and young girls on the toilet in pubs...A search at the scene and his home address...revealed 20 video clips of adults being filmed without their knowledge: 16 of which featured men and women using the toilets at Creamfields - where Smith was working and had set up a covert camera... more

LA - Michael Jackson was convicted of video voyeurism and sentenced to 80 years in prison after he was convicted as a habitual offender from a July 2016 arrest. Jackson got caught at a fast-food restaurant sticking a camera under a bathroom stall to film females. The registered sex offender had multiple other convictions on his record. more

Mauritius - The Mauritius Football Association and local police are investigating a complaint of voyeurism after a female FA employee found a mobile phone in video recording mode in the women's toilets at the FA headquarters. ...the device hidden in a blue basket above the toilet water tank. more

China - The China Cyberspace Administration (CAC) announced on Monday that dozens of people were arrested and 25,000 illegally hacked webcams were seized as part of a crackdown on illegal voyeurism in Asian countries. In a statement, Cyber ​​Security Watchdog announced the detention of 59 suspects allegedly using camera cracking software to illegally control webcams, eavesdrop on individuals and commit illegal acts. more

UK - For months voyeur Christopher Adam Robinson, 35, secretly put his mobile phone in the shop’s changing room where it could film others without them knowing, said Howard Shaw, prosecuting... Robinson said he needed to “set up” the changing room and went briefly into it before letting people use it. UK - Doctor Metwally also pleaded guilty to two offences of voyeurism which took place between 2013 and 2014 after he covertly filmed two patients who were in a state of undress whilst attending medical appointments. more

NY - Philip Close, the former owner of the Close School of Music, was sentenced Tuesday to 50 years in prison for child pornography, according to federal officials... He admitted to hiding spy cameras to secretly record students, parents and teachers in the building... Close also put hidden cameras in the music school’s only bathroom, one under the toilet and one in front of the toilet. These cameras were used to record young girls using the bathroom. more

Canada - A trial has been scheduled for Moose Jaw businesswoman Kyra Klassen, who is facing two charges of voyeurism...Klassen is facing allegations that she secretly photographed two nude women last year and posted the images to an online chat group without their permission. more

TN - Police said a man has been charged with three counts of video voyeurism after they found a phone under a bathroom sink in a Middlesboro hospital, with a motion-activated app that police said would take live footage. more

Japan - Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 42-year-old man over the alleged sale on the internet of illicit footage of female sex workers...allegedly sold footage of several sex workers on the pay-to-view site... (He had) mounted a hidden camera on the frame of his glasses to take tosatsu (voyeur) footage during encounters with them... Upon his arrest (he) admitted to the allegations. “I thought that if I made money, I could visit more sex shops,” the suspect told police. more

FL - A Florida youth pastor who was previously accused of hiding a camera in a church bathroom has now been charged with possession of child pornography. more

Canada - A Cold Lake high school teacher was charged by RCMP with making child pornography and voyeurism. Assumption teacher James Neil Morrison allegedly installed a camera in a student changeroom and recorded inappropriate imagery of a 16-year-old. more

FL - Robert Sampson, 52, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, pled guilty today to charges of Video Voyeurism and Disorderly Conduct. Sampson surreptitiously videoed eight fellow Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) employees using a hidden recording device that he placed in a restroom at the Veterans Affairs Joint Ambulatory Care Center in Pensacola, Florida, on multiple occasions. more

PA - A Pennsylvania florist has been accused of hiding a small camera in a flower arrangement so that he could spy on a woman. According to local reports, this was learned after a relative of the victim found nude images downloaded on the florist’s computer. more

Japan - Police in Tokyo have arrested a 33-year-old elementary school teacher on suspicion of violating the child pornography law and forcible obstruction of business after he allegedly installed a spy camera inside the girl’s toilet. more

UK - A man has been charged with voyeurism offences involving 107 alleged victims over a period of six years. David Glover, 47, of Edelweiss View in Tallington, is accused of installing camera equipment to observe women doing a private act, without their consent, for his own sexual gratification. more

FL - A bartender in Islamorada was arrested after reportedly placing a video camera that captured photos of a woman in a bathroom... The device was disguised as a USB charging adapter, according to deputies. more

Canada - A former maintenance worker at Royal Oaks Country Club who hid a cellphone in a restroom to secretly record a woman using the toilet was sentenced Monday to 30 days on a work crew. more 

CT - A city man accused of recording guests in his Glenbrook condo while they used the bathroom has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of voyeurism. more 

SC - Riviere is named as a defendant in three separate lawsuits in state court that accuse the management of some Aiken short-term rental properties of secretly recording women who paid to stay there. more 

US - A man has claimed he caught his girlfriend of six years cheating on him by using a hidden spy camera secreted away inside a USB plug that he left in their apartment. The anonymous man, from the US, went viral on TikTok earlier this week after he revealed he had bought a plug-in USB brick, which contained secret spyware... The video, which has been hashtagged #CheatersGettingCaught, has been viewed over 2.5million times and amassed over 432,000 likes. more 

LA - Monroe man arrested on four counts of video voyeurism... The victim then stated she found a video of herself getting in and out of the shower at his residence. Fairly stated that he ordered a clock with a hidden camera on Ebay to record the inside of his house. more

CO - Denver Firefighter Paid $100K over Station Bedroom Spycam. The settlement comes after a former lieutenant was convicted last year in connection with setting up a hidden camera and recording a female firefighter changing clothes. more

S. Korea - There has been a public outcry over a recent case in which a male teacher allegedly installed hidden cameras in a restroom for female teachers at the high school where he works. more

New Zealand - A man who repeatedly planted a spy camera in an Auckland gym's changing rooms to film people naked was promoted to chief executive of Crown entity International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) after the offending took place. more 

TN - A former high school nurse has been arrested on child pornography charges for photographing over 40 girl students undressing in the bathroom... The seized photos were all captured through a hidden camera placed in a school bathroom. more  

Japan - A staff member at a social welfare facility in the prefecture resigned after he was accused of illicit filming inside a bathroom, the facility revealed on Monday. The camera, which was hidden inside a pen... “I did it for thrills,” the staff member said in admitting to the allegations. more

UK - Judge James Burbidge QC, sentencing, described how the defendant had hidden a spy camera in an air freshener and had used it to take more than 10,500 photographs. more

Spycam News: So far in April...

ID - Deputies have arrested a Jefferson County man for allegedly using a home security camera to secretly record a woman and a teenage girl in the shower. Daniel J Hendrickson, 38...told a Jefferson County Sheriff’s detective his “stupidity” and “curiosity” led him to place a wireless camera in a bathroom to record the woman and the teenage girl. more

Singapore - While at a church camp, he heard a woman showering in the toilet and took a video of her. The 20-year-old, who was 16 at the time, kept and watched the video repeatedly afterwards. He also took voyeuristic videos of three others - at an MRT station, a school toilet and a school canteen. more

UK - A consultant radiologist who was twice convicted of voyeurism after hiding his mobile phone to film women in toilets has been struck off the UK medical register...he admitted to covertly filming people using the restroom at his places of work as well as at his family home. more

Canada - Shawn Nickerson, a former basketball coach, has been sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to 32 charges – including voyeurism...Through the years Nickerson used a handful of “spy cameras” hidden in washrooms and changerooms to record unsuspecting boys – often when naked. There are 21 known victims. Nickerson took the images he captured to the dark web where...the images where “traded like cards.” more

FL - A South Florida restaurant employee is behind bars accused of taking video of a customer who was using the bathroom. more

UK - Business owner Scott Ennis secretly filmed her in the bedroom, recorded her work conversations with a hidden microphone and deployed a member of his staff to spy on her. Louisa Ennis had no idea what was going on until she spotted a mystery device showing up on her wi-fi router and discovered it was her husband’s spy camera. more

Canada - Al Young, a long-time real estate agent and property manager from New Minas, N.S., was charged with voyeurism after a modified mirror was discovered in a building bathroom at the Blomidon Terrace in Wolfville, N.S.... Police say it was an elaborate set-up. more

Japan - Nagano Prefectural Police have arrested a civic employee for Nagano City over the alleged trespassing into a female acquaintance’s residence... According to police, his purpose for entering was to retrieve a hidden camera that he had planted inside two days before. more

WA - A Trilogy employee reported to the Walla Walla Police Department that Rosales had an iPad Pro tablet recording in an office restroom when he asked her to go into the restroom and try on two shirts while not wearing a bra. The employee later said in a statement to investigators that the request from her boss was ostensibly to give an opinion if the T-shirts being sold as part of a fundraiser were too “see-through” to be appropriate. more

Japan - Police have arrested a 28-year-old female high school teacher and her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend on suspicion of violating the child prostitution and pornography law after they took voyeuristic images of girls in the changing room at a hot springs facility in 2016. more

UK - Female nudists demand new security measures on Brighton naturist beach after men were caught secretly taking photos. more

MI - A Michigan man has been arrested after police say he was caught on a hidden camera poisoning his co-worker's water bottle with anti-freeze. more

FL - A former Tampa teacher has pleaded guilty to more than 300 counts of video voyeurism after being accused of secretly recording 124 students and an adult teacher undressing over a two year period. Mark William Ackett, 52, taught fashion design and coached girls track at Bloomingdale High School. more

OH - The suspect facing voyeurism charges has turned himself in. Armani Martin, 21, is the suspect in an investigation into someone recording people inside business bathrooms, according to Fairfield Township police. Martin is being charged with voyeurism, police say. more

SC - A 78-year-old Summerton man was arrested on March 8 for allegedly placing a fake smoke detector containing a camera inside a neighbor's home. more

UT - Jarom Brown, an adjunct instructor in the theater department, stepped down after police arrested him on charges of voyeurism and harassment. Brown released a video of the two engaged in a “romantic encounter” in hopes of exoneration but was instead arrested on several counts of voyeurism and harassment. Sue claims that in both the photo and the video she was entirely unaware she was being recorded. more

WA - A Whatcom County man is suspected of using a camera disguised to look like a cellphone charger to capture video and images of four children between the ages of 12 and 17 undressing, using the bathroom and showering. All four victims were known to the man. more

FL - A nurse in Florida has been charged with video voyeurism after being accused of planting a hidden camera in a public restroom at the rehab clinic where he worked. more

Canada - The man who recorded people changing and using a staff bathroom at Summerhill Winery was a “raging alcoholic” at the time, according to his lawyer... Leighton's defence counsel Cory Armour said his client had been drinking a 26-ounce bottle of hard liquor and two bottles of wine every day in August 2019, when he hid cameras inside the staff washroom at Summerhill Winery. He was an employee of the winery at the time. more

 FL - A man is facing video voyeurism charges while claiming to be on a job interview. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrested Che Cunningham, 27, on the third floor of an unidentified office building... According to the arrest report, Cunningham said he came to the building for a job interview but didn't remember the employer's name or office number. He claimed he had to use the bathroom and accidentally walked into the women's restroom. more

FL - A Village of Chitty Chatty man has entered a plea in a criminal case in which he is accused of using his phone to shoot video of a man in an adjacent bathroom stall. Sumter County sheriff’s deputies had been searching for a man who had gone to Lowe’s Home Improvement ... and attempted to use his phone to video a man using an adjacent stall in a restroom. more

IN - A Jay County man has been charged with voyeurism after failing to convince authorities his actions had been part of an ill-conceived Halloween prank. Sheriff's deputies said Doublin was visiting the home of a female acquaintance when he tried to use his cellphone to record images of the woman's daughter as she entered and emerged from a shower. The young woman had suspected Doublin of such behavior earlier, and placed a camera in a hallway to record his actions on Oct. 31, according to an affidavit. more

Australia - A woman has shared the sneaky way a man was trying to record her getting undressed in a changing room in a bid to help others stay safe... (The) video shows, the man in the stall next to hers had used this gap to try to record her getting undressed, positioning his camera phone between his feet on the floor to point inside her cubicle and film her getting undressed. more

MS - A Mississippi man has been arrested after police reportedly found a camera he installed in his neighbors bedroom wall. On Friday, Oxford police arrested 44-year-old Gary Morris after officers responded to a residence on Christman Drive where a woman found a camera lens protruding through her bedroom wall. more

Canada - A 37-year-old man faces voyeurism-related charges for allegedly filming an Ottawa woman without her consent during consensual sexual encounters over a two-year period. The Almonte man met the victim on a dating app. more

SC - Agents with SLED have confirmed the arrest of a Laurens County Detention Center officer. Warrants say Tollison on multiple occasions invited a victim into his office to change her clothing in private... During these incidents, Tollison set up a web camera in his office and photographed the victim undressing without her knowledge or consent. more

Borneo - The Magistrate’s Court yesterday handed a four-month jail sentence to a 42-year-old cleaner for recording a video of a woman using the female restroom at a government primary school... The court was also informed that he had been employed for a year as a cleaner at the school. more

Singapore - Earlier this year, Lynn Neo started locking the door of her hostel room whenever she took a nap... She and other friends began taking precautions like these immediately after they heard about a 24-year-old male student at NUS who had mounted two spycams in women’s toilets in their college. more

Thailand - A school director has been moved to an inactive post pending an investigation into a video showing him placing a camera in the toilet of a pub in this northeastern province. more

 ID - A federal grand jury has indicted a Rigby man on 17 charges after he was arrested last year for video voyeurism...Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies learned that a woman had discovered videos of a 14-year-old girl in the shower on Boam’s phone. Additionally, the woman stumbled upon a video of herself showering on the phone, according to an affidavit of probable cause. more

Singapore - NTU student caught trying to film hall mate showering. When confronted, suspect allegedly claimed it was his first time and he was just being 'playful and curious'. more

MI - Police were called to the Aqua-Tots after a woman complained she saw a recording device capturing her in a changing stall and reported it to staff. Sakamoto was arrested for allegedly using a hidden camera. They found the memory card to his phone in the toilet in which they suspect he put there. more

TX - A Sevier County man faces a felony charge of video voyeurism for an alleged incident involving a female relative, according to records....a Sevier County woman reported to the Sheriff's Office that her 13-year-old female relative had found nude photos and videos of herself on the suspect's iPad...The girl told police she often got dressed in her closet. She reported that she was bending over to pick up some clothes when she noticed the iPad on a shelf and that it was recording. The girl reported that she stopped the recording and went to the recently deleted videos, where she found a video of herself changing clothes. more

UK - A woman was undressing after finishing her shift when she noticed an LED light shining from a shoe which had been placed in the next cubicle in the mixed gender locker room. She then discovered a small black camera attached to a long cable and yanked it towards her, before it snagged. The horrified supermarket worker found the peeping Tom cowering in a nearby locker and demanded his phone. more

LA - A onetime Assumption Parish political candidate and local business leader has been arrested for a second time in three months on video voyeurism counts. more

AR - Dillon Dooms, 35, is accused of hiding cameras inside his studio and videotaping unsuspected models changing their clothes... While changing clothes, the woman noticed a USB charging port with a small, pin-point-style lens on it. She inspected the device and found that it was a video camera with a micro SD card inside. According to the report, she found three other hidden cameras in the studio. She was only able to retrieve one of the SD cards from the cameras. The woman took the SD card to Fayetteville Police. Dooms was interviewed by investigators a few days later. more

Spycam News: X-Youth Basketball Coach Sentenced to 20 Years

 PA - In June 2016, James Hardcastle, 42, transported three minor boys, ages 15, 16 and 16, as their coach to Wildwood, New Jersey to participate in a basketball tournament, and shared a motel room with them in which there was no shower curtain.  

The defendant installed a USB drive containing a hidden camera in a power outlet in the bathroom and surreptitiously filmed each of the minors taking showers.  

Previously, in June and July 2015, the defendant also attempted to videotape two minors in a bathroom using a hidden camera while the minors were visiting his home in Bensalem. more

FL - Justin Stueve is accused of rape and video voyeurism of his then-wife, who said she found a thumb drive full of explicit photos of herself. A judge has ruled that defense attorneys will be allowed to review photos allegedly taken by their client of his ex-wife while she was unconscious. more 

Japan - Police in Tokyo have arrested a 34-year-old man and his 35-year-old common-law wife on suspicion of extortion after they threatened a man that they would report him to police for taking upskirt videos of the woman unless he paid them money...The man agreed to pay 1.1 million yen in return for not being reported to the police. more

S. Korea - South Korean singer A investigated for illegally filming women...A is suspected of secretly filming the bodies of several women, including sex scenes, using hidden cameras until early this year...South Korea is notorious for illegal filming crimes also known as molka crimes. more

Canada - A suspended Mountie charged with sex crimes by two different police services across the country is alleged to have secretly filmed women 34 times inside the bathroom of his south Ottawa apartment, during sex and in hotel rooms. more

FL - Robert Privette, 49, was staying at the DoubleTree resort in Key West when he is alleged to have heard two women in the room next door returning from the beach. Privette is then said to have managed to slide a tiny spy camera surreptitiously under the door of the room in order to film the pair, aged 24 and 27, as they undressed after a day on the sands. more

AR - A 41-year-old man accused of secretly videotaping a female teenager with a hidden camera in a Bluetooth speaker is facing video voyeurism and child pornography charges. more

India - A man arrested for voyeurism jumped into the sea while being taken to the beach by the police to collect evidence on Wednesday. His hands were cuffed. His body is yet to be found. more

UK - A former presenter of BBC News...who has shifted his career from being a British TV news personality to evangelical preaching, said most of these offences were committed with children during the past 30 years...He also admitted to two counts of making explicit videos of children... more

UK - A man has admitted using a hidden camera to film people using the toilet in Bristol...Prosecutor May Li said Andrews was discovered when one of the victims noticed a green light above a doorway and saw it was a hidden camera. When she looked at what was in the memory card, she saw Andrews’ face in the footage. (Darwin Award) more

UK- Victim living with anxiety after man set up hidden cameras in bedroom and bathroom.

S. Korea - KBS released an official statement on Wednesday saying it felt great responsibility for a spycam incident involving a comedian who appears on TV show “Gag Concert.” He is suspected of having installed hidden cameras (disguised as phone chargers) in the women’s restroom inside one of its buildings. more

FL - A man hired to install security systems inside a home along Florida’s Treasure Coast found himself behind bars after allegedly setting up a hidden camera inside a bathroom to spy on teenage girls. more

WY - One after the other on Tuesday, four women urged the District Court Judge Bill Simpson to impose the maximum sentence on the man who secretly videotaped them in a workplace bathroom last year...In a rare move, Simpson told the Park County prosecutor and Abraham’s defense attorney that he wanted to add four years of supervised probation onto the stipulated two to four years of prison time. more

KY - A lawsuit has been filed against an Elizabethtown-based tanning salon chain after police say a customer used a selfie stick to secretly shoot video of a nude woman tanning at a Louisville salon. more

WY - A suspect was arrested and is facing a felony charge of Voyeurism, after being accused of taking photos under the door of a Cheyenne store changing room. more

N. Ireland - A former contestant on TV talent show The Voice from Co Down has been revealed as a self-confessed sex offender who secretly recorded women for his own sexual gratification. more

LA - An Eros teen is facing multiple charges after he allegedly captured images of a juvenile nude by leaving his cell phone recording in a bathroom. more

VT - Eike Blohm, 38, (a UVM professor and doctor) was originally arrested on multiple counts of voyeurism April 17 for placing hidden cameras in staff bathrooms at UVMMC. He was charged with production and possession of child pornography May 22 and was subsequently fired from both the University and UVMMC. more

SC - A former Limestone College employee accused of recording women at a West Virginia university is now a person of interest in a voyeurism case on the Limestone campus. Gaffney Police Chief Chris Skinner said Collins Brandon Murphy, 32, has been named a person of interest in an incident which occurred at Limestone College. more
